Prior to joining Dataspeed, he headed up business development for Metamoto, was the North American ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle subject matter expert for Siemens / Tass PLM Software, and worked in controls and systems engineering with National Instruments, Takata, Fanuc Robotics, and Rockwell Automation. He created and teaches the SAE “Introduction to the Highly Automated Vehicle” class, as well as classes on AV liability and regulations.
About Dataspeed:
With over 500 systems on the road, Dataspeed, Inc. is the largest supplier of by-wire kits used to build & develop AV's. The by-wire kit is a complete industrial grade hardware and software solution allowing seamless electronic control of a vehicle’s braking, throttle, steering and shifting. More about our meetups:
This is our first in what we expect to be a quarterly series held in Detroit Metro to highlight new and important technologies, companies, and ideas in ground vehicle engineering. We have hosted a similar monthly series for over three years in Silicon Valley and elsewhere, and I’ve received more and more requests to do the same for the Detroit community. So at long last, we are here!
What to expect:
Dress is casual, food and beverage (often incl. beer) are always provided, and there is a modest fee to help defray costs and to encourage commitment to RSVPs. There is ample opportunity to network, meet new people and interact with presenters. Content is intended for a technical audience.
We look forward to seeing you and hope you will come back as new events are posted -- also, check out the meetups we host in Silicon Valley and other regions.
