EV3.4              Tractive System Battery Container - Mechanical Configuration

EV3.4.1           All battery containers must be rugged and rigidly mounted to the chassis to prevent the containers from loosening during the dynamic events or possible accidents. If fasteners are used for mounting a battery container, they must comply with SAE Grade 5 or Metric 8.8.
